ÌýI love seeing ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åampa's sense of community. Everyone is friendly, supportive and encouraging. I like the feeling cultivated here that everyone cares for your well-being and there are resources available that make you feel important as an individual, not just one person in a large crowd. It's so cool that we have that tight-knit community feel while being in the middle of a big city!

Favorite Spot in Tampa:

I love the Riverwalk, so it's awesome that our campus overlooks it. I really like downtown Tampa and the Armature Works area, especially when I can find outdoor yoga classes to attend.Ìý

Best Place to Eat in Tampa:

There are so many good options, but I really enjoy Oak and Ola for special occasions.Ìý

Tips for Incoming Freshmen:

It's easy to get overwhelmed in a new environment, so just know that you have time and so many great resources to help you get acclimated. Really take the time to walk around campus and different buildings to not only familiarize yourself but get immersed. You never know what club or miscellaneous event could be taking place and by stepping outside your comfort zone you can form some amazing connections and start to find your niche.Ìý
