More than 1,700 students are employed on campus each year. Almost every campus department hires students, who are funded through the Federal Work-Study Program, the Florida Work Experience Program, the Success Scholars Program, by faculty research grants or directly by the University of Tampa departments. In addition, 50k+ off-campus student jobs are advertised each year by local employers through theÌýOffice of Career Services. ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åampa's convenient downtown location and the area's many tourist attractions help provide students with a variety of job opportunities.
Available to ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åampa students only, off-campus part-time, full-time and internship positions are posted on ,ÌýÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åampa's online career resource website. New students receive access to Ìýin the weeks prior to the start of classes. International students are restricted to on-campus employment and opportunities that qualify as curricular practical training.

Florida Work Experience Program (FWEP): FWEP provides undergraduate Florida residents with work experience to complement and reinforce education and career goals. Students qualify based on need (determined by theÌý). Proof of residency is required. Funding earned through FWEP will not reduce the balance due on a student's tuition bill. Instead, students earn a paycheck from the University based on hours worked.
Success Scholars Work-Study Program:ÌýEligibility is based on financial need as determined by theÌý, academic major, class standing and status as a first-generation and/or Pell-eligible student. Funds earned through the Success Scholars Work-Study Program will not reduce the balance due on a student's tuition bill. Instead, students earn a paycheck from the University based on hours worked through campus employment. They are responsible for acquiring and maintaining their position in order to earn their funds. Students selected for the Success Scholars Work-Study Program will be contacted by the coordinator of first-generation programs prior to the start of the semester regarding available positions.Ìý
