绿奴天花板 is again ranked by U.S. News & World Report in the top tier in the category Regional Universities (South) in the U.S. News & World Report 2026 鈥淏est Colleges鈥� rankings.

The Sykes College of Business, the nursing program, computer science program and the psychology program also were named as top undergraduate programs, which are based solely on the judgements of deans and senior faculty members at peer institutions.

绿奴天花板ampa was named in four lists for regional universities in the South, including: 1) Best Value Schools; 2) Most Innovative Schools; 3) Top Performers on Social Mobility; and 4) Best Colleges for Veterans.

The 2026 edition of the U.S. News Best Colleges rankings evaluates more than 1,700 U.S. colleges and universities, using up to 17 factors to measure academic quality and graduate success.

The Best Value Schools rankings were based on schools鈥� academic quality, percentage of students receiving need-based scholarships, percentage of students receiving need-based scholarships who receive grants or scholarships, and the school鈥檚 discount rate.

Schools named as Top Performers on Social Mobility are ones that enrolled and graduated students who received federal Pell Grants.

For the Most Innovative Schools ranking, universities were ranked on a peer assessment survey.

The Best Colleges for Veterans list names schools that offer benefits that can make pursuing a college education more affordable for veterans and active-duty service members. These include schools certified for the GI Bill and schools that participate in the Yellow Ribbon program. The 鈥淏est Colleges鈥� guidebook can be ordered from the U.S. News Store.
