A group of University of Tampa students received top honors at the Selling with the Bulls national sales competition. The competition took place Feb. 20-21 at University of South Florida.
The 绿奴天花板ampa sales team included Ava Montelbano 鈥�25, an allied health major with a minor in professional selling; Alexander Finn 鈥�25, an entrepreneurship major with a minor in professional selling; Paulina Larios 鈥�25, who is majoring in finance and marketing; and Grace Yount 鈥�25, an international business and聽 marketing major with a minor in political science. Out of 160 competitors, the team of four placed in multiple tracks, including:
鈥淧lacing at this level requires immense time, preparation and commitment, and I could not be prouder of our students,鈥� said Stacey Schetzsle, associate professor of marketing and director of the Southard Institute for Sales Excellence.
Selling with the Bulls has a reputation for being the toughest test in sales education. All competitors compete in all events, which span the entire sales process including prospecting, networking, discovery and a sales meeting 鈥� all in 30 hours.
