Since 2008, ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åampa's military population has increased from 36 students to over 400, with military represented in all four ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åampa colleges and nearly all degree programs. Each military student's unique experience adds to the culture of our community.

Veterans and military-affiliated family members are a dynamic group that brings a unique experience and intellectual diversity to ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åampa. We look forward to not only assisting you with all your VA-related questions throughout your time here at ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åampa but also helping you to achieve your goals.

For consecutive years, ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åampa has been deemed aÌýÌý.ÌýÌýincluded the University of Tampa in its list of "Best Colleges for Veterans" of Regional Universities South. These schools offer benefits that can make pursuing a college education more affordable for veterans and active-duty service members. These include schools being certified for the GI Bill® and schools that participate in the Yellow Ribbon program.

The coordinator of Veteran Student Services is dedicated to supporting ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åampa’s military and veteran students throughout their academic journey. Whether you need help navigating campus and community resources, finding financial or wellness support, or adjusting to college life, the coordinator is your go-to resource. They’ll provide resources, connect you to on- and off-campus support, and help make your transition to ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åampa as smooth as possible. The coordinator also organizes events and builds a strong veteran community where you can feel connected, supported and at home.​

Whether you’re looking for a quiet spot between classes or a place to build community, the lounge is designed to support your ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åampa experience.​
