Professional and Community Activities

Michelle Frankich is an international presenter in the field of training and development. Her innovative approach to instructional design and training has impacted numerous private and public organizations across the world. Throughout her career, she has created thousands of training courses including Continuing Medical Education (CEU) through Vanderbilt University, FEMA Learning Journey with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and Ultimate Medical Academy Student and Career Success courses. With a passion for virtual learning environments, Frankich created Syft University while managing training deployment for successful implementation of Syft Synergy software.

Frankich keeps informed of the latest research and trends as an adjunct professor at the University of Tampa and Ultimate Medical Academy. She is an active member of professional organizations such as the Association of Business Communications and the Association of Training and Development. She shares her passion for effective online learning as a presenter at the International Association for Online Learning Virtual School Symposium, Sloan C Consortium Blended Learning Conference and U.S. Department of State American Councils for International Education. The covid pandemic brought challenges to the traditional delivery of nursing education; but Frankich was able to apply her expertise to allow a variety of effective remote learning opportunities to help support the pedagogical shift inteaching and learning to strengthen nursing education and clinical practice by presenting as a key note speaker in Kenya, Africa, at the Leadership Building for Nursing and Mid wifery in Africa International Conference in June 2022. Frankich was also an International presenter for the American Councils for International Education- a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, presenting to 15 Eastern European and Eurasian countries.
