Career Specialties

Patrik Lubin began his career in recreation through youth programming and community engagement, where he developed a strong foundation in sports management, facility operations and program leadership. He gained hands-on experience working in youth recreation programs, community centers and sports organizations. He started as a camp counselor with Dover Shores Community Center, where he facilitated inclusive programming and discovered his passion for community recreation. He later joined i9 Sports, where he progressed from site supervisor to assistant program director and ultimately head program director. In this role, he led multi-site youth sports programs, managed staff and built strong community partnerships across central Florida.

In addition to his recreation experience, he served as an assistant operations manager at Esporta Fitness, where he supported daily facility operations, staff development and customer service initiatives. He also worked as a student intern and U.S. program representative with Varsity Abroad, representing the organization at recruitment events and coordinating outreach efforts.

In his current role, Lubin oversees facility operations, supports student staff development, and contributes to the planning and implementation of campus recreation programs and events. He is passionate about creating inclusive, engaging environments that promote active lifestyles and enhance the overall student experience.

Honors and Awards

Lubin is deeply committed to giving back to the community through youth sports and recreation. Throughout his career, he has made it a priority to support and uplift local youth sports organizations by volunteering his time and expertise whenever needed. Whether assisting with program operations, mentoring young athletes or helping organizations navigate staffing and event needs, he takes pride in contributing to positive, development-focused environments for youth.

Lubin's experiences have allowed him to build strong connections within the community while reinforcing his passion for creating accessible and inclusive recreational opportunities. He remains dedicated to continuing his involvement in community-based initiatives that promote teamwork, personal growth and active lifestyles for youth and families alike.
